Saudi Sustainability Magazine is now open

for submissions for the May 2024 issue. 

SPSA Magazine - a Quarterly Magazine

The SPSA (Sustainability Professionals of Saudi Arabia) is proud to announce the upcoming 2nd Issue (set to publish May 30, 2024). We welcome contributions from around the world on any topic dealing with or relating to sustainability and how it affects us. 

Promote yourself, your name, your image and your work by being published in Saudi Arabia's first magazine dedicated solely to the world and industry of sustainability. 

Submission Guidelines: 

  • Topic or Theme: We accept articles, essays and reports on any theme or topic of interest or relevance to sustainability.
  • Who Can Submit: Anyone can submit work for publishing - please kindly include your name, location, and credentials.
  • Word Count & Format: Please submit your work in Word Doc, 12pt Times Roman or Arial font. Black text on white background only.
  • Images or other Media: If you have images or other media (such as tables, etc.) that are pertinent to the presentation of your work, submit these in separate attachments with your article. We will need a signed declaration (we will provide the format) of your right to use and publish said images and media.
  • Deadline: Submissions will close on May 15, 2024 at 12:00 pm (midnight), KSA time zone (+3 GMT).
  • How to Submit: Send your article or report (and any associated media) to: info@spsaonline.net, or use the contact button on this page to open the dialogue for mail. Please ensure you include "SPSA Magazine Submission - MAY 2024" in the subject line.
  • Age of Acceptance: To remain in compliance with international laws and regulations concerning interactions with minors, we need inclusion of your age in your credentials. Anyone under the age of 18yrs must provide an approval letter from legal guardian or parent - without which the submission will not be accepted.
  • Compensation and/or Payment: At this time, we are not paying contributors for work submitted. However, this may change in the near future. In addition, we do not require a submission fee for any work submitted for review.
  • Acceptance Procedure: Any work submitted will not be returned to the sender and will remain in the database of Saudi Sustainability Magazine, for reference and future use (if not accepted for the current issue to be published). All work will be reviewed by our editorial staff, and you will be notified as to whether or not it will be published. 
  • Necessary Data upon Submission: Each work submitted (if submitting multiple articles or reports), must include (on the main WordDoc itself) - Title of work, author name, date submitted, author bio (approximately 150 - 300 words - keep as short as possible), author contact information (email, social media links, mobile with international country code) AND: authors age.

  • Inclusion in Specific SPSA programs: Your contribution to Saudi Sustainability Magazine will gain for you the right to first priority for future activities and events conducted by or hosted through the venue of SPSA.
